members uploading into there own folder

hi i was wondering if anybody could help me with linking my upload file script to my login script ive got the uploading working perfectly and the login script works i also have got it so that when a user registers it creates a folder for them.

what im wanting is so when a member gets to the upload screen it saves the file they upload to there folder which has been created when they registered

if anyone has any idea as ive only been doin this for 1 day but am stuck now.

why not use mod_rewrite rather than create a folder for each user? Assuming you are on apache (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_rewrite.html)
