Learn more about PHP

Thank you to anyone who can recommend some books to learn more about PHP, I have read [SAMS] PHP and MySQL Web Development and [Wrox] Beginning Php5, Apache, And Mysql Web Development, neither mention template technology nor framework.

Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂

If you want to learn more about PHP hang about here and answer/ask questions. I think thats the best way.

Otherwise just try making things, you'll learn more than you can in a book. Books have limits.

My first project:
a anti-social networking site in 2001. by anti I mean people went there to fight. :-)
that took a better part of a year to complete. and looking back it looked and worked like crap, but i learned alot.

You're right, practice is best way to learn, but where can I find some "practice"? If anybody could supply to me, I will do my best!

It's easy to find practice. Pick a website idea that interests you and try to make it. Then just just need to read up and ask questions how to do specific things.

My first websites included various different photo galleries and news/blogging systems.

sadly no, nor is it's follow up, turns out people arent as mean as I though they were.
I should just put it back up somewhere and see what happens what the hell right.
