PHP Report writing tool

I am new to PHP/MySQL (although not new to web development) and would like to know if there are any recommended reporting tools for PHP. I would like to embed the report and launch it from the webpage itself, based on information in MySQL. I am looking for opensource solutions. I was able to google "PHP Report Maker" but cannot seem to find any reviews or programmer feedback on this tool. Does anyone have any ideas?

I suggest writing your own. That's what I ended up doing. that way I had the features I wanted, none of the other bs, and knew exactly how things functioned and how to modify/add/remove stuff later.
