Form to iFrame on another page?

Hi.

I'm currently trying to get a form to process from one page to another to bring up the info inside of an iframe. I can get this to work no bother is the frame is on the same page, but i can't seem to get then form's information to process to another page.

I've been trying to do this in ASP as a friend had code which was similar to what i was after, but i don't know anything about ASP so i'm having trouble with that, i know a little PHP coding in that would be best.

http://blue42media.co.uk/henson/index.asp this is the kind of form i'm looking to do, which goes to the next page and then brings up the autotrader info inside of the iframe.

If anyone knows how to do this, or has a tutorial on it that would be great.

Hi,
You need to read on how to use the get function, variables and if/else statements. When you have some code post it here and we will be happy to help. I would have something like this....

Page 1) Pass form one to page 2 using GET
Page 2) Retreieve the data using $_GET['variable_name'] and insert it into the string into the mysql select. Also get the advanced search and insert that into another WHERE. This is quite complex for a beginner, I would try to pass data from a page to another and learn how to insert this data into a select statement. 🙂 A good site for tutorials is http://tizag.com
