Hi, I'm interested to know:

How does the [ PHP ] [ PHP ] button work on this forum? - How does the server know what colour to display certain parts of the code in?

My guess is that it uses the [man]highlight_string[/man] function in PHP.

Hi, I want to create a script that formats different parts of the code into different colours. - How do I do this?

Also, how do I know what standard colours to use, e.g. Red = Strings etc.)
