Newbie Problem, Spam?

I'm a Jr admin for a forum ( not that it really means much lol) and one of the members is complaining about getting banned for spamming. yet the spam/ban option was turned off. Apparently the posts she is posting is too long she tries to just copy and paste in parts into one big post. thats the only thing i can think that would cause an issue. I can't figure out whats wrong. Any ideas?

I'd suggest going to the web site of whichever forum software you are using and search their support forums/knowledge-base, and then post a question there if you don't find the answer.
