im using php 4,is any php 4 equivalent of ispostback propery of dotnet,

i.e,i m implement a search feature from two php page(as per my requirement)
in result page there is paging feature, for this i wnt to retain the submitted values

can any know how can i do this,

or in php equivalent of ispostback.
