need help with variable errors...

I am pretty new to php and am having a huge problem... i currently have a functioning php website and need to pull it local to use at different places... i have easy php installed and am running the correct versions of php and mysql... whenever i launch the site locally i get a list of errors(will post after this) and have no clue how to make them go away... also attached are the 2 files in question... any help will be appreciated...

Let's start with the undefined constants:

When you use a string literal for an array index, it should be quoted:

$arrayVariable['index']

If 'index' were not quoted in the above example, then the PHP parser would consider it to be a constant (instead of a string literal). Assuming it has not actually been [man]define/man'd as a constant, then PHP assumes that it is a constant with its value being the same as its name, and throws the error message you are seeing.

Once you fix those, you should have a lot fewer errors, you can re-run it, and show us the remaining errors. We can then focus on the next most common error. 🙂

Although, as a hint, if "$foo" doesn't exist, then "foo" is an undefined variable; and if "$arrayVariable['p']" doesn't exist, then 'p' is an undefined index....
