MySQL site statistics??

hi, i need a basic script that displays on a webpage the number of visitors online, members online from aspecific table named "users" and a number of page view today... all the scripts i can find are recording statistics this is not what i want... just a basic one which displays those 3 statistics??

any ideas?

On each page you save a timestamp in the DB and you assume that every user who updated a page X minutes ago is still online.

On every page you stores a timestamp in the database and every page checks all the timestamps for every user and all timestamps who is newer then maybe 20 minutes is concidered still online

wats the code? i put a code on the page to display the record right...a code to display users online visitors online and page views today...?

This sounds a bit advance for someone who doesnt know the basics of php. Maybe you should start understanding the basics of php and MySQL before jumping in at the deep end, and just taking a script without understanding it.
