site is redirecting.

Hi i have a script installed on a free hosting account, only problem is it has started recently redirecting to megago.com

the site is http://nci.890m.com/--> redirects to megago.com

http://nci.890m.com/resume/employers/employer_registration.php
(if i click on links it then redirects. )

I emailed the host and they said it wasnt them, how would an external site do this, and how do i remove it?

im on the college computer now, using ie7. At home using firefox it redirects as well

Is there an index.php or default.php in the root of your site? If so, are there any header() calls in it?

Also check for a .htaccess file in the root of your website. Just so people don't get redirected to a spam/advertising site, I've removed the link in your post that was redirecting, but to make it clear, this is what is happening:

EDIT: One thing I noticed is that all of the links point to nci.890.com instead of nci.890m.com .

there is a .ht access file but its empty, there is just that and the script.

How can this happen? Could it be the host or just some form of hacking?

Did you read the "EDIT" part of my post? If you change all of the links to 890m.com, they work fine.

Whether someone changed your scripts, you made a typo, or some other explanation as to why the links are all "890.com", we can't say.

In case you were hacked, now would be an excellent time to change all of your passwords for the site: login, FTP, database, etc. I would do that before anything else, and then fix the link domains as Brad has pointed out. (And be sure to use "strong" passwords: upper- and lower-case letters plus numbers and special characters.)
