Oh dear, I am starting to consider Geany since it allows me a consistent interface between Linux and MS Windows, which is also one reason why I use Code::Blocks.

Dreamweaver CS3 (i like the pretty colours)

I've used Dreamweaver since DW4 it's hard to get out of the habit. Purly use it for a coding tool though never use design view cringe

Yes, I am picky about my editors, but just recall the vi versus emacs holy war and it becomes obvious that programmers can be religiously picky about them (and that includes IDEs, since with batteries included these text editors are IDEs, or at least come close).

Note that I am still evaluating Geany, comparing it to Gedit and Notepad++, though with respect to Gedit it is not a very fair comparison since I neglected to include Gedit plugins.

Being somewhat new to the whole coding world, I am still with my tried and true app DreamWeaver (been with it also since v.4, now with CS3).
I believe soon I will be looking out for a better editor for PHP once I get more advanced with it. It WILL be nice to be told where I am missing a ' or a ; which can save me some bald spots on my scalp and those late night hours anguishing and annoying my non-coding husband with "WHY WON'T THIS WORK!!!???!!!" and actually thinking I will get an answer.:mad:
I am NOT an advocate of those WYSIWYG apps, you need to learn the internet 'glue' ('x'HTML) if you want to do ANY internet design, but DW helps with the quick view of your progress if you so choose.

I've been trying phpDeveloper 2008, and I do like that it helps me with the small stuff, but I do miss design view to not preview, but move things around on a more graphical interface. I know it does have too, but I preffer dreamweavers (for now)

I used to use PSPad, then I found jEdit.

My work makes me use Zend Studio. The only thing about it that I hate (or maybe I haven't found it yet) is the lack of a search and replace in files tool.
