Here is the scenario. I have a database with 12 individual columns for weeks. We are currently in week 4. Every week, the database with be updated with new information. On the view I am creating with PHP, I invision a column that says Average, and i will take the weeks and divide by the number of weeks filled out. With out writing out a date and comparing to find out what week we are in, is there any way to select all the weeks and determine the first week there is no data, so I know what number of weeks to divide by?

The best solution would be to normalize the database, that way not having one table for all the weeks. It would make inserting into the database, deleting from the database, changing in the database and select from the database much more easy. And it will make it easier to handle the result in PHP as well.
