Seems like I always end up back here at PHPBfor a free lunch :o

So, browsing thru phpinfo.php I see the above entry with an IP address of someone I let into my server for some configuration work. I did Google the term but can't determine what impact that setting has.

I'm hoping it doesn't mean that they can access my server without my knowledge...

That's why I'm asking.

In the phpinfo I believe this just shows the IP address of the person viewing phpinfo. Are you sure its not your IP?

As, I think its basically the IP of the person that executed called that script. So if you view phpinfo, you are that person.

It shows in the Environment section in both the:

REMOTE_HOST and REMOTE_ADDR Variable heading.
