how is profile information stored in a database and how can you make a accessible to other users?

if you look on facebook whenever you go to a page lets just say that its yours its always like profile.php?j9djd9jjd9js

whats with the question mark and the numbers after? is that how you store a profile?

You need to read basic HTML, ?(question mark) is the to define the start of Query string. and number or values are unique identifier of your profile or other related information for page. They are stored differently in database as per designer of database or coder.
