[RESOLVED] saving picture using php scripts?

i have many picture urls related to another db and wish to save them in my local db.
how can i save a picture using php scripts?

First, you should store the files on the file system, not the database.

Second, you can use [man]fopen[/man], [man]fread[/man] and [man]fwrite[/man] to get the images. Be sure to [man]fclose[/man] when you are done working with the file.

Note that if you are using PHP5 (which I would hope so), you can simply use two functions: [man]file_get_contents/man and [man]file_put_contents/man.
