Email confirmation

Hi, does anyone know where i can learn how to write code in php for someone registration and send confirmation by email to activity member by click link!

i would appreication if you have sample code where i can learn how to write that code in php and mysql please or if there is tutorial link for that...

If you can wait a bit, I have an article sitting here that I'm polishing up on doing just that 😉

But essentially it's just a matter of using the [man]mail/man function to send out an email and store in either a text file or a database a unique key.

I'm having trouble to insert confirm_code into the databse, as you can see on the top of code where it said $confirm_code=md5(uniqid(rand())) that suppose to be insert the code number but i could not figure out why is not working!

Any idea that you can help me! I use this dreamwever.

I'm going to say because you're inserting $_POST['confirm_code'] instead of $confirm_code....

yes is works fine thanks so much for your help, but there is small problme, after i tested with my database, i checked on mysql showing there is no confirm-code number there, instead of that im showing word "confirm_code". I must have put something wrong with code there $confirm_code=md5(uniqid(rand()))

Any idea!
