Hey all,
I am having a problem with 301 redirects in my htaccess file. Google has indexed 5 pages incorrectly (from a bad sitemap file I already corrected). All of these pages are dynamic and are essentially the same page. Here is what I am doing:
RedirectPermanent /directory/page-being-accessed.php?id=2 http://www.mysite.com/page-being-accessed.php?id=2
When I load this into my htaccess file nothing happens even thought I am using this successfully for other pages that I have moved. None of the other pages this works with are dynamic, so this leads me to think that the issues is from the dynamic url.
Any suggestions on why this is happening?
