URL Redirect According to username

Hi there guys

I need a bit of hand here. I appreciate any help or direction.

I have a URL like below

How would I be able to "with php coding" redirect to a page which belongs to the user.

E.g.

Username has no extension, so it is just the username. At signup I have already created a page in some folder on the server, which is let’s say "Username.php", but I like to access this page just by typing the username.

I hope I did not confuse you guys.

URL the address bar in browser

e.g.

www.Some-Domain.com/UserName

Then it goes to

www.Some-Domain.com/UserName.php

I did think of something, would it be possible to split the domain by php and just pragmatically send just the Username + .php to redirect? But How?

So how do I split the URL from the back slash where username starts and use the username part to redirect to the right page?

if you're running linux it works if you type /username aswell, you're automaticly get username.php when you type that

Yes this had to be done on the Linux server not the php codes. This was done in .htaccess file on the server.
