not serving images...

Not really php related but we have a lot of php/apache guys here so I am hoping

I installed Wamp and it is working fine I get my images out of the images directory I created the following folder structure in that folder

/images/ads/topBanners/ [top banner images here]

However I can't see them on any pages and I can't even navigate to them directly by typing in

localhost/images/ads/topBanners/imageA.jpg

I get nothing.

Any help?

Check for permissions if you're using linux

I am using windows - wamp is a windows install of the big three (apache, php, mySql)

Obvious question but /images/ is in your root folder or has a Alias to the location?

I get files served correctly out of the images directly just not out of the subdirectories within that images folder.

Check so that they are not write protected or hidden, if they aren't i javn't got a clue
