Browse / Upload ALL Images in Directory?

Hey Alll,
Is it possible to upload an entire directory (all images from a directory) via html form /browse/ submit?

Would like to provide ability for authorized end users to designate and upload a defalut local photo directory -- in it's entirety -- (or at least all .jpg) to a PHP Home Inspection Web App. folder -- rather than having to select and upload each photo individually for a given Home Inspection Report.

You can make a java applet but AFAIK you can't with html
