[RESOLVED] Problem with array

I am having trouble with an array, as follows:

Value in table: 5' 00"

Dropdown box displays all options correctly, however does not select the value equal to the value in the table.

Any ideas?

And before anyone asks, the array format is:

" '3&#82_17 00"'=>'3&#82_17 00"' "

Without the _ between the 82 and 17

It just doesn't show that way on here.....

Ehm.. What does it show?

Could be encoding issues, or something with html_special_chars

Can you be more specific on what is being showed, and how that is different from what you expected?

It just displays the standard "Please Select"

Where it should display the value in the db table... in the case of the record I am using for testing:

5' 00"

I'm thinking I may have to change the original input format from 5' 00" to 5FT 00IN

...

Was hoping not to, but....

nevermind... I ended up changing to 5FT 00IN and it works fine now.... must be something with the html special chars...
