how would u get the images in the image folder to be displayed in the slideshow. how would you even make the slideshow? javascript? i recognized at the beginning that you should preload all the images before you make the slideshow so that it would make a better transition but since u said that javascript takes too long to load how can u make it so that its just like a continuing slideshow with transitions like every 5 seconds?

Hm.. I think you might need to give us some information on what you are working on here. Unless of course you expect us to trawl through previous messages for you..

In general:
1) use a file upload
2) Use javascript for the slideshow, either through a javascript array or ajax of some sort
3) Why would javascript take too long to load? Write valid, short mean lean code and you will be fine
