Form doesn't process correctly -- New User notification 'vanishes' like magic

Hi Everyone,
I use textWrangler to write and work my code (and i'm very new and honestly don't know a lot. Some of my php is not 'greening' properly. When php is entered correctly, the '<? php' and '?>' appear in green. Some of it is appearing in blue which i think might be the cause of my bug that i'm having with getting the verification to work correctly to screen out nasty spam bots - but it seems i'm also screening out the players too. Help?

the error is that its formatted blue? well that's a new one to me.

there nothing wrong with the syntax of what you have posted but it does not provide enough information for any one to help, we need to see how the form is processes once submitted,

Hi Dagon -- When I write that the 'formatting is blue', I mean that TextWrangler highlights the PHP in blue, thus signaling that it is recognizing it as php code and not just as text. So i'm very vexed by it.

What does it mean when you say that you need to see how the form is processed once submitted? I'm totally self-taught and new to forums, so I don't understand what you mean exactly. Do you want me to submit the entire page of code? It's 25,564 characters long - a lot of it just text though.

Please advise and thank you for looking at my issue. It's very appreciated

don't want\need to see all of it, but do need to see the relivent parts, which would include where you process the data sent from the form
