Char problem

I have the following:

$item['title'| record in the db

And the following editing form:

<TR>
	<TD><B>Title</B>:</TD>
	<TD><INPUT TYPE='text' NAME='title' size=70 maxlength=100 value='".$item['title'|."'></TD>
</TR>

The title is the following, as in the db: Title'test

The problem is, when I enter the edit form page, the title shows like this: Title

anything after the single quote, it's not displayed, but in the db, the title is good

How can I make it to be displayed correctly?

use double quotes for value or escape the single quote in its content

value="'.$item['title'|."'

you will have to replace the other singles used in the html with doubles also.
