A quick hi from a newbie!

Hi!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place - I couldn't see a general thread for introductions so I thought I'd make my own 😉

My name is Mark. I live in England and I am a Computer Technician.

I have coded in several languages, but mostly several forms of BASIC, especially Visual Basic. I have a fair bit of HTML experience, and was thrown into PHP at the deep end when I agreed to help a friend with some coding! I'm learning as I go... it can be very frustrating, but it is a great feeling when it all comes together!

I thought I'd register here as I have become stuck in my current project, and am tearing my hair out!

Welcome to the forums! As you are a computer technician, you know the mantra.. rtfm, and if you do not know it still. Please joins us here and pop your questions about. Probably you will get the most expanded responses in the newbies foru, and you probably will want to move quite fast to the more advanced coding & database forums, as you gain confidence. With your prior programming experience, you are going to find PhP one of the easiest languages to work with, I bet
