[RESOLVED] move_uploaded_file() PROBLEM

Hello all,

I am having a problem with the move_uploaded_file(). I receive this type of error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/images/Cover-Girl-nancy.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/myarticl/test_image.php on line 50

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpA6OTpc' to '/images/Cover-Girl-nancy.jpg' in /home/www/myarticl/test_image.php on line 50

The weird thing is that it works fine locally (on PHP5) but it fails on the server (PHP4). I don't know whether the different versions have anything to do with that. Moreover, all my folders on the servers have 777 permissions. I have also tried as 755 but still not good. I have also tried absolute path and no absolute path...

My hosting company told me that they have enabled that function to their servers.

any ideas?

You need to remove the leading slash from the /images/ ...

LOL that was the only thing that I hadnt tried. Just one delete and it works lol...thanks a lot mate
