Hello , I'm a Malaysian Chinese , and I'm no good in english ,sorry pal.

I hope someone will solve a few of these question:

1,Do I need a server to install Apache ?Currently I'm install it on my pc.

2,Can anyone help me or guide me?I'm a greenhorn in these fields.I just brought a book named "Beginning PHP5, Apache, and MySQL Web Development" by Elizabeth Naramore, Jason Gerner, Yann Le Scouarnec, Jeremy Stolz, Michael K. Glass.Hopefully, one of these pro can help.

You just need a computer with a suitable operating system and sufficient resources to run Apache. If resources are a problem, there are other web server software that is more lightweight, but generally a modern desktop computer would not have the kind of minimal specifications that would cripple Apache.

If you want to host a website, on the other hand, your best bet is to find a good host instead of attempting to use your local computer as the server.
