only show between given date.

Im having a little problem with sorting after date.

I have a form, where I type in some infoes. These infoes should only be shown between the "from" and "to" date I give.

eg. a info with the "from date" 25-05-2008 and "to date" 30-05-2008 will only show from 25-05-2008 to 30-05-2008.

In my mysql database, I put in the dates in a "from" colum and a "to" colum.
and write out the data with <?php echo $row["INFO"]; ?>

The dates shoulden't be shown (write out).

How can I sort this?

Note that djheru's suggestion would work if you used the standard YYYY-MM-DD date format.

I would suggest converting the columns in your DB to DATE columns and instead using this format. You can easily display the date however you'd like; that's what the DATE_FORMAT() function in MySQL or the [man]date/man command in PHP are for. For storage and manipulation purposes, however, it would be better to convert the date in this situation.

The columns are set as dates in Mysql.

I will try to reexplain.

I have a site, where I put in some different products, that should be shownd a given date.
Eg.
product 1 should be shown 25-05-2008 till 30-05-2008
product 2 should be shown 30-05-2008 till 05-06-2008
product 3 should be shown 05-06-2008 till 10-06-2008
etc.

I defind what the from and to dates in the form, and put them in the database in two columns named "from" and "to" (set as dates columns)

Therefore the "SELECT" should be variable, and not as djheru's suggestion.
