[RESOLVED] Fetching all url links

i want to fetch all url links from a text to an array.

i have this code but it does not work.

$var='<html><head></head><body><br><p>hello</p><a href="page1.htm">pageone1.htm</a><hr><img src="pic.jpg"><div align=center><a href="http://www.google.com">google</a><br></p></body></html>'; 
$arrMatches = array(); 
preg_match_all("#<a href=\"(.*)\">#", $var, $arrMatches); 
print_r ($arrMatches);

also this pattern does not work:

preg_match_all("#/href=[\"']?([^\"']?.*)[\"']?/i#", $var, $arrMatches);

result must be:

Array
(
[0] => page1.htm
[1] => http://www.google.com
)

in other mean i want to fetch all href values. any one can help me to fix this code to getting this result?

i have found a script to fetch all the links of a page, but i only need specific links.

I was wondering if it was possible to use PHP to gather specific links from another web site and save them in MySQL database. The links only change once a week (each week), i would like to have an intelligent script to gather the links each week. The links are for Conference Calls and Seminar Events, I need to gather the links, the dates and any other important information; like phone numbers, time and addresses.
This script will be used in a vbulletin v4.0.3 forum side block. I want to display, the days, link, time or address

Block display example:

Thursday April 29
-link
-time
-phone or address

Friday April 30
no events today
