I have entries in the db that could be a numeric range, such as 4-11. When I export it to Excel, it takes that and makes the cell read as a date (11-Apr). Is there any way to override this?
just ran into this problem last night. When you write the cell, write it like:
="4-11"
including the equals sign and the quotes. It will tell Excel to treat it as a string.
