My first first, so I hope it makes sense.
Do you know how easy it would be to write some php code to do the following or do you know of some code I could edit.
On my site I have some serial number info but I would like people to be able to enter their number and it come back with the answer.
The format is always the same and examples are these:-
3G1234 equates to 3=1983, G=batch, 1234=build number
second serial example is this
F2123456 equates to F=Formosa (Taiwan), 2=1982, 123456=build number some times there is a letter in the build number
If you could point me in the right direction?
