problem in display image using ajax

i create image and dislay through ajax, it display, but when i create again new image with same name and replace old image it still show old image while old image doesn't exist,
ajax file return only path of image. what is the problem? is there problem of cache ?
how can i remove this ? anyone help...

Yes, it's probably a browser caching issue. One simple solution would be to append some sort of unique query string to each URL so that the browser will consider it a new image, even if that query string info is ignored by the server. (This assumes you are calling some sort of server-side script to server up the image, as opposed to directly calling an image file?)
