Reverse Order of Sort on SQL Db

I have an SQL database that has several fields.
One field is a date field. I'd like to sort the order of the report by reverse order.
IE; the newest date first.

What is the "ordered by" modification that I need to reverse the sort order?
I know that ASC is ascending. What is decending command?
