testing bulk emailers

ok - first of all know any simple bulk multipart email scripts/classes? That do html and plain if html isn't possible?

2nd - how can you test if all the recipients get them? I can send it 1000 times to myself.

But is that a good test to see if the script can handle high numbers of emails?

phpmailer is the best mailing script I've seen.

There are all kinds of things beyond your control that will affect whether your recipients actually get the messages, but if you just want to see that the script can run through 1000 messages without dieing then I think sending to yourself would be a reasonable test.
