I am looking for documentation for php.4.4, specifically documentation on classes.

If someone could point me to CHM file or an HTML site, it would be greatly appreciated.

I spent some time trying to find something on php.net, but all the documentation was for php5.

The OOP for PHP 4 section of the manual is at http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop.php. However, if at all possible, you really should upgrade to PHP 5 since (a) PHP 4 reached its "end of life" at the start of this year and will no longer be supported, and (b) PHP 5 has much better OOP support.

Awesome! I appreciate it. I completely agree with you on the upgrade, but the code i'm working in is ancient and I don't think my boss would go for it.

If you have some better arguments for upgrading, I would be more than happy to present them to my boss.

The official announcement states that PHP 4.4.8 "wraps up all the outstanding patches for the PHP 4.4 series, and is therefore the last normal PHP 4.4 release. If necessary, releases to address security issues could be made until 2008-08-08."

In other words, you have just nine weeks before PHP 4.4 becomes a potential security liability.
