Hey everyone,
I am looking into adding an instant messaging system to my website so users can ask questions in real time and get responses in real time. Does anybody have any experience in doing this. If so can you point me to some good material or show me a sample script that can perform this duty. I have looked at the php manual at a starting point but would like to see some examples or possibly be pointed to some good articles on the subject.
If anybody does know about this, am I better off using Javascript for this type of function or is php a better way to go. I am just starting to dive into this so please forgive me if I an unexperienced in this matter.
