Which editor, if you don't mind saying?

It's Kevin Roth's Cross-Browser Rich Text Editor (RTE). I've found it to be the easiest and smallest to install.
Firefox 3 is inserting style references into the editbox but the chap is aware of the problem and presumably he's working on a fix.

I heard that the Firebug add-on is not working with FF3, which may impact a lot of web developers.

I've been running FF3 since the first public beta. Loved it. I've also been using my typical extensions (AB+, Filterset.G Updater, Firebug, WebDev Toolbar).

The betas used to really crash on me all the time if I opened too many tabs, or a specific tab had some hearty JS or client-side code to compile/run. Seems like they fixed that issue.

Unfortunately, there is already a security vulnerability; although, you have to be stupid enough to click on the link.

Now... if only Thunderbird could get going on a faster release cycle....

Unfortunately, there is already a security vulnerability; although, you have to be stupid enough to click on the link.

To get rid of the security vulnerability immediately, you have to switch away from Firefox entirely 😉

I think I'll just wait for the fix to be released.

According to the article JPnyc linked to, the vulnerability is not specific to FF3, but is also in FF2 (and presumably inherited from it by FF3), so you would not be increasing the security risk by upgrading -- at least not with regard to that particular issue.

Yes, hence downgrading to Firefox 2 is not good enough if you want a fix now.

As for Sunbird, the only reason I'm using Thunderbird 2 on my desktop is because it integrates with Lightning so much better than the current "betas" of Thunderbird.
