Newbie question,is this possible with php?

Hi all. I hope someone can help me. I am making a website and I have decided I want to put my sponsors join page (the sign up form) in an iframe on my site. The thing is that it is sort of a plain looking (ugly) form so I was thinking if it would be possible to make my own form with html then (using php) to process the data so that it is re-submitted to the actual sponsor form. Is that possible? I also want to make sure none of the data is cached on my site. I have seen other sites that are doing this ( I think) but I don't know how.

I hope someone can help me or tell me how complicated is this to do.

Absolutely. in many cases you can do it using [man]CURL[/man].
(Un)fortunately I have never had the need for it, and cannot help you any further 🙂

The easiest way is to change the action attribute of the FORM tag to go to your sponsor's site. If you want to have them submit directly to you, let me know and I can look up some code I have that allows you to do this.

Yes thankyou Tera I would like that very much. I am still pretty new at making websites so the simplest route is definately the best.🙂

I'm confused by your response. To change the form to direct to their site? You just need to name the fields the same (look for name= in the code) and update the <form action="some-url">.

Im sorry. I should have been more specific. I meant that I would like to know how to have them submit directly to me. I am more or less looking for a way that I can have them open an account with my sponsor (but using my own form) Which would ask them to make a screen name and password for the sponsor's site, give their email address etc..) and then, after they fill it out, have some sort of code that would then automatically re-submit that info to the real sponsor form to open their account.

I just went looking through my code and it's all been customized to a large degree, most of which is for posting XML. I'm a bit busy today, so you may want to do a quick search on the net for "curl php example". Then, if you get stuck, post your code and we can go from there.
