Hi,
I want to create new site about cars - there will be some photos and texts about it. But I want to create complete in objects (I want to learn it) but I dont know how...

It will be about cars, so I think that main object must be "car" with methods like "return_foto" and "return_text". I also think that it must be Singleton, and on every page I will send to "car" class information about url (and with url I can select all info from D😎.

Thats is only what I think, but I dont know If ii is the best way....

But How I can make other things? I have class for DB conect, Templating and I really dont know how to make index.php 😃 and also, how will theese classes comunicate...

can anybody help me?

A singleton means you would only ever had one. Don't you think you would have more than one car?

A database makes more sense as a singleton...

You would start small and work your way up. Do you really need a complicated template class just now? Why not use a pre-made template class? There isn't a really good reason to re-invent the wheel.

I dont want to re-invent wheel 🙂

Class for DB I have from phpclasses.org and templating class from sourceforge.net (http://htmltmpl.sourceforge.net/) both of them is simple 🙂

But I dont know how to make a site... I have no problem with php5 syntax, but I have a lot of problems with object coding. And in books about design patterns (do you know some about php? I have only about Java) is only "patterns" but I need examples how I can use it...

I know both Java and PHP. If you want you can explain to me in Java how you would do it and I would then tell you how I would do that in PHP...

I'm not quite sure what piece of the puzzle you are missing. You need one page that is going to be procedural in a way, since PHP has no main method like in Java. However, this would just call up the different objects and perform queries on the database with your DB class or use the template class...

I would suggest using __autoload to load the classes without having to use require/include all the time. I tend to put a class per file, like with Java, although this is optional.
