Php & My sql

I am very new in this field and i have bought a book, but i couldn't understand any thing.
i have php4 and sql...
question is that.. i have made a form in html that have three text box and a radio button.
text box-name , address, phone no.
radio button-male & female

now i want to save information in sql , what should i do? and what have i to write the code?

please help me...!

you have to create another page which will be used to process your form and also it will update it and/or add it to the database.

You need to read this section of the manual:

form handling

And after that, read the section on mysql. There's LOTS of examples in the manual. If you get stuck on a certain point, come back and ask a question about that.
