[RESOLVED] Changed servers...have to use $_GET now?

Greetings,

I have a bunch of variables that I am use $POST for and all was working fine on my old server. I recently changed hosts and now the only way for the pages to function is if I add $GET to the page for each variable. How can I avoid having to do this?

The sever has all the lastet version on it.

Out of context like that I really have no idea. $GET is for variable/value pairs sent to the page via a URL query string (which can be from a form using method="get"). $POST is for such values received from a form using method="post". The only reason for it to change is if the way your page is being called has changed.

I wish there was something I could same I did change but it was not the case. I simply moved it from one server to another.

How are the scripts being called, via a form? If so, what method type is specified in the form tag?

You know...now that I really look at it, it is only the variables I am passing through the URL: www.domain.com/index.php?id=888. Those are the only variables that have changed.

Variables passed via URL always should be accessed via $GET (and not even accessible via $POST). If there is a situation where they can be accessed via $_POST, then that is the abnormal situation for which I know of no explanation.

OK, that makes sense. It looks like my old host was miss configured somehow and I was getting out of doing some extra work on my part.
