Welcome to PhP builders.
If you are just starting off, you are best off to post in the newbies forum. THat will trigger the most elaborate response. Also, you might get responses from people who are just starting off themselves, and might not check on the more advanced forums.
To get started: Have a look at the thread with info for people that are just getting started.
You are best off to start with a simpler task, and go from there. Some very basic startup tuts can be found under the coding link in my sig. Start off with setting up a table, inserting information and retrieving it with PhP. Take it from there. Once you are confortable with getting info into and out of tables, and you are capable of creating a form that results in specific information being retrieved from the database you can start thinking about these more elaborate sites that you are trying to build.
This is not to be nasty, but to help you. If you now start directly on building a booking agent website, you will have a lot of question, very little understanding, and you might have to rebuild the whole thing once you are done, because you forgot some essential points.
Don't let this scare you off. We all statred at some point, and most of us have not forgotten the first steps in the language. Once you get to grasps with the basics you will learn new tricks very quickly. However.. The first steps can be frustrating at times.
