php mail - can't get 'Return-path' to work.

Hi, can anyone help?

set up my mail header parameters to include a Return-path: email address but it doesn't seem to work and all returns go to the default setup in the php.ini file. What do I need to do to make my returns go to the e-mail address of my choice?

As an aside - I can't see my php.ini file on my server - can I create my own to override some of the defaults that have been set up on the server?

• You need to add a header to your email:

"Reply-To: [e-mail]\r\n"

• I do not think you can add your own php ini to the server just like that. however, you can adjust settings at runtime

Thanks for the feedback but that value is already in my 'header' ......

$headers = 'Return-path: ' . $data_rec['cust_service_email_address'] . "\n" .
'From: ' . $data_rec['cust_service_email_address'] . "\n" .
'Reply-To: ' . $data_rec['cust_service_email_address'];

... it should work but it doesn't - any ideas?

PS. I've tried it with "\n" and with "\r\n" but the resilt is the same.

Thanks for the tip re. run time settings but I don't think this can infuence the e-mail address that e-mail failures are directed to can it?
