Running PHP inside Wordpress Page

I need to run PHP inside a Word Press Page/Post WITHOUT use of an additional plugin or editing the WP code. Is it possible?

You can edit the applicable template file(s) for the theme you are using.

Well, if you want to execute PHP code, someplace in some page that gets loaded you have to edit something. I don't understand why you can't edit a theme file; I do it all the time in my WP blogs. But assuming you have a good reason for not wanting to do so, the only other option I see is to create a wrapper PHP page that executes whatever code you need, plus includes the main WP script.

basically im building a project that user grab code from and insert the code into their WP blogs. This process needs to be as painless and with minimal steps for the very novice WP admin user.

It really seems that there is no easy way to do this. Since adding plugins is most likely the easiest for anyone to do, we will have to require one of the few PHP processing plugin.
