SMF help

I have had SMF for some time and since I updated the 1.1.5 version, everything went haywire! I have this code

across my screen, everything is off centered

I had this arcade mod on there and then it went all weird when 1.1.5 came out and then I tried to uninstall it but it is still there. And I am wondering if I can just move everything over to PHPBB or if my SMF can be fixed because I have NO IDEA what I Am doing and I am desperate. Thank you!

backup your database, and reinstall it....It appears there was a bad mod that was only compatible with your previous version. You'd have to find the modified file, and manually remove that line of code, and frankly, it's just easier to backup your database, and reinstall.

Although I welcome you to PHPBuilder and I hope you get this issue resolved, I think this would be better off posted on SMF's forum.

I believe the issue is in your english language template file. When you removed the mod, it could have replaced its values with "?>" which would then print out the $txt variables for you.

Take a look in your Themes/<theme_name>/languages/*.english.php file and see if "?>" is the last line or not. Really, you would probably be better off just removing that "?>" all together.

I'd start with index.english.php
