[RESOLVED] Grouping Results - Probably Something Simple

All,
I have a bunch of items listed in my db. I have a column that is either a 1 for active or 0 for inactive. When I run a query I want to see all active cards (where the active column is 1) on top and all the inactive (active = 0) are below. The problem is when I try using GROUP BY active it only shows one result even if there are lots that are active. I know this is probably something simple but I've been up for the past 18 hours working on this project and this slight glitch has me pulling my hair out.

Perhaps you would like to ORDER BY active DESC instead.

I knew it was something simple. And now I feel like an r-tard. Thanks laser, much appreciated. I was grouping by the wrong column.
