RewriteRule Help

Hello,

I am having trouble with mod_rewrite. I hope someone can help me. I currently have a rewrite rule to redirect a query page to a directory. The thing is any time I goto the url without the leading / it displays the page wrong.

Is there a way to force the / after the url? Or redirect it?

RewriteRule ^([/.]+)/?$ profile/index.php?cart=$1

example:
http://localhost/dcart/profile/ - Works
http://localhost/dcart/profile - Does not (takes you to: http://localhost/home/derrick/www/dcart/profile/)

I just need to make it so anytime someone hits http://localhost/dcart/profile it goes to http://localhost/dcart/profile/

Look at your second rewrite rule. You have it so that as long as there is no "/" in it, then it redirects to the folder, otherwise to the profile. You'd need to allow that slash (like you did at the other one).

RewriteRule ^(.+)/?$ $1/ [R,L]

Or something like that. I can't guarantee anything, but it might work.
