A basic question concerning PHP & ASP

I've been asked to renovate part of a site written in asp and i have never done any asp and don't want to learn it now.

My question is : can PHP and ASP co-exist on the same server ?

Presumably asp requires a Windows server - is that a problem for PHP ?

can MySQL run on a Windows server ?

ok, so that was three questions !

can anyone give me any advice on this

My website host was originally hosted on a Windows server and was running ASP pages, they would only let me run an MSSQL database off it, so I've had to switch to a Linux package in order to run MySQL.
