Give it time. I'm pretty sure that eventually libxslt will be updated to include xslt 2.0. However, until such a time, there is always Saxon, but that's for JAVA. There is a usernote on the main [man]xsl[/man] page about a wrapper to gain xslt 2.0 support. Not sure if that would help you or not, but right now, it's the only solution.
