[RESOLVED] HTML in my database, when echod back into my page, all HTML is stripped?..

I got a new host today, I am not sure why this might be happening,

I have a database with HTML saved in it..

IE

<BR>text text text<BR>

but when i print it back, from the database, it strips out all the HTML formatting..

any idea why this might be?

could my host be limiting this?
